All mandatory gear must be carried from the start to the finish and may be checked at any time. Violations may lead to disqualification.
At aid stations, the Organizing Committee will only provide water and some basic food. Runners must stock up sufficiently before leaving the station.
For the 70km and 50km distances, each runner is allowed one supporter at designated aid stations only.

The Phong Nha Wild Trail is held within the Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage Site, an area recognized by UNESCO for its geological, biological, and scenic value. Therefore, environmental protection and sustainable development are the top priorities of the Organizing Committee.
The race is committed to a "Zero Waste" policy, striving for an eco-friendly event. Single-use plastic bottles or cups will not be used throughout the race; instead, each runner must carry a personal cup or bottle to refill at aid stations. All trash must be carried to a water station or aid station and disposed of in the designated bins. Littering or causing harm to the environment may lead to disqualification.
Every step on the trail is a connection with the forest; thus, participants are encouraged to respect nature, not to break trees, pick flowers, collect rocks, or disturb wildlife. Runners must stay on the marked course to prevent erosion and protect the primary forest ecosystem.
The Organizing Committee also strives to minimize environmental impact by using eco-friendly materials like reusable marker tape, and recyclable/reusable signs and stakes.
